This is part two of a series on the best foods for weight loss. In this article we discuss best foods for weight loss breakfast. There are many foods that you can eat to lose weight in the morning. This article will cover some of the best foods for weight loss breakfast. I encourage you all to read this article because I think it will help you tremendously.
First I want to share a little about Indian food. There are many types of Indian food. From curries and the main meals all the way through to desserts there are so many delicious foods that are full of nutrients. This means that you will be consuming fewer calories at each meal because there are many nutritious choices in each meal.
For breakfast there is always the favorite banana, or sandwich. If you have ever eaten a bbq chicken on white bread with a side of spinach salad and a small cup of tea then you are familiar with a bbq sandwich. It is actually a very easy dish to make. All you need for this food is a prepared sandwich fill with any type of meat, bread with eggs or whatever you wish to make your own (breakfast foragers beware) and a cup of your favorite beverage. The serving size is typically very small and you can add more of everything if you wish to make it a meal instead of a snack.
For lunch you could have rice or congee. If you enjoy the nutty flavor of the Indian brown rice, then try using half as much white rice. Also I like to use some extra virgin olive oil instead of the regular vegetable oil. The olive oil has more healthy monounsaturated fats, which helps with weight loss.
Night time I like to snack on some fresh avocados. You can eat the entire avocados without adding any additional toppings, although I often do, just to get that satisfying crunch. You can serve the avocados as an accompaniment to a ham or cheese on crackers or with chips. I also enjoy the simplicity of having a bag of chips available all year round, rather than having to go out to get something.
For breakfast one of my favorites is oatmeal with a little bit of cinnamon, lemon or honey added. Another great choice for morning is the full recipe French vanilla waffles, which I make once a week as part of my weight loss program. You can add anything you would like to the batter, which makes them very easy to prepare. The only vegetables you need are some whole wheat flour, whole wheat or some other whole grain flour, nonfat or fat free sour cream, and apple cider vinegar.
One of the best foods for weight loss that you don't hear much about are nuts and olives. I add a handful to my salads, side dishes, and even cut them into wedges for a lunchtime snack. You can find various kinds of nuts online and in stores, but if you want to make the best choice, consider adding some extra virgin olive oil to the mix. Olive oil is full of healthy fats, which will help you burn calories more effectively. Nuts are also high in protein, so they make a great alternative when it comes to snacks and a meal for dinner. You can also sprinkle some flax seed over your cereal if you're trying to add some more fiber to your diet.
If you have a few nights where you have nothing else to eat, you can still make a satisfying and healthy meal by making a delicious raw vegetable salad. One of my favorite recipes for this is made from hummus and raw veggies. All you have to do is to mix a tablespoon of chickpea paste with a tablespoon of chopped tomatoes and a bit of pepper, and then add some sliced cucumbers and mix it all up until the hummus is blended. This is a simple, yet delicious meal suggestion for weight loss on night shift that will keep you full and satisfied.
