So how many steps should you take to lose weight? You should be taking three or four steps a day. The idea is to burn up more calories than you consume. If you are consuming more calories than you are burning, you will lose weight. If you are eating less than you are burning, you are going to keep losing weight. It is that simple.

Of course you are going to have to put in the work and change your habits. But you can do it. I promise you. If you want to learn how to take the stairs instead of the elevator, then go for it. Just do it.

Find an exercise that you enjoy. Walking is a good choice. Swimming laps is another good choice. Take a few walks a day, and you will start to see results very quickly.

Once you learn how to do a simple step aerobics routine, you can do it anywhere. Your house is no longer out of the question. If you are using public transportation, then figure out how many steps you need to take to get there, and then do them. You can use the stairs at work, so figure out how many steps it takes to get to work, and go from there.
